• In 2016, the enumerated population of Surrey (City) was 517,887, which represents a change of 10.6% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 5.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Surrey (City) is 316.41 square kilometres and the population density was 1,636.8 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 169,964 private dwellings occupied in Surrey (City), which represent a change of 11.2% from 2011.
